Matt and Chris have been building guitars for a long time. They've also been teaching how to build for a long time. If you've tried to book a workshop and the class is full...or maybe you haven't seen the exact build class you're looking for, this option is for you. What do YOU want to build? When? Get your buddies together, your brothers and sisters, your band....let us know what you want to build and we'll design the class for you. Provided there are at least two of you, you can not only have your dream guitar...you can BUILD it. Workshop price per person starts at around $2000. That price includes the Instruction AND the complete guitar.
What we'll provide -
The Workshop
You'll have all the hand tools and power tools at your disposal, under our direction and discretion. Aside from paint and finishes, everyone will build the same "shape" so we can all be on the same page as we go.
Bodies and Necks
We'll have the basic wood ready for you when you arrive so we can get to work immediately. You'll shape, sand, route, do the fretwork and the nutwork and assembly. Depending on the class, hardware may or may not be provided.
Start to Finish Instruction
You're going to be amazed, impressed and proud of what you leave with. Yes, you'll leave with a complete guitar, ready to go, along with the satisfaction of knowing what you've learned and built with your own hands.
